Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you have a shop?
A: No we don't but you are welcome to visit us by appointment. Please phone us on 01748 826552 to arrange a time to visit.
Q: How do I get to you and what are you near?
A: The nearest railway station is Darlington, and from there a bus or taxi is your best bet.
Please phone us for directions if you are unsure.
Q: Do you have a minimum order?
A: Yes we do - £10.00 (inc VAT) before postage. Please see our Terms and Conditions.
Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
A: It usually takes 2-3 working days from the receipt of the order - however during busy periods this can sometimes take a little longer. We do always try our best to get it out sooner if the beads are needed urgently. We also offer a next day delivery service, which is the price of Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Q: Do you ever sell your beads at shows?
A: Yes we do - please see news for updates on forthcoming shows.
Q: Do you have a search facility on your site?
A: Yes we do. You will find it on the top bar of the Home Page, left hand side. If you want to search for a product you can do so by colour, material, and code (if you know it). If you put in fish, or star, or heart, everything with these words in the description will appear. It is a good toy to play with and you never know what you may discover! Follow the link to search and enjoy the facility.
Q: What do the prefixes CG and IG mean on the Seed Bead pages?
A: CG stands for Czech Glass and IG stands for Indian Glass. The Czech glass is extremely good quality and regular, and the Indian also very good quality but not quite as regular as the Czech. The Indian Glass may not be 'even' enough for bead weaving, but are fabulous in creative embroidery.
